I’m interested in how this will be implemented. I’ve moved industries from analog to digital technologies for twenty years. The number one consideration for success should be data portability. Patient digital files must be able to be opened, edited, and saved in an open format that’s used by all service providers. Regardless of how much planning goes on for systems and implementation there will always be unintended consequences. But an open file format has to be the rule.
